The development of hydrogen refueling stations

Many countries and companies have attached great importance to hydrogen energy technology, establishing various international and regional organizations, such as the International Hydrogen Economy Cooperation Organization (IPHE), the California Fuel Cell Cooperation Organization (CaFCP), the Japan Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Demonstration Project (JHFC), and the European Clean Cities Transport Initiative (CUTE). These organizations, along with some independent private entities, have established numerous hydrogen refueling stations worldwide, significantly promoting their development.

In 2022, the latest data from the National Energy Administration showed that my country had achieved a new breakthrough in hydrogen refueling, having cumulatively built over 250 hydrogen refueling stations, accounting for approximately 40% of the global total, ranking first in the world in terms of the number of hydrogen refueling stations.

Data provided by the China Hydrogen Energy Alliance shows that as of the end of 2021, there were 659 operating hydrogen refueling stations globally. Among them, China ranked first in the world in the number of hydrogen refueling stations. As of the end of June 2022, China had built over 270 hydrogen refueling stations.
