A hydrogen refueling station is an infrastructure that provides hydrogen refueling services for hydrogen-powered vehicles, railway locomotives, and other transportation vehicles. By injecting hydrogen into these vehicles, electricity is generated to power them, achieving zero emissions. The core equipment includes a hydrogen compressor, a high-pressure hydrogen storage tank, and a hydrogen refueling machine. The method of refueling fuel cell vehicles is similar to that of a gas station.
Hydrogen refueling stations are classified by construction type into stationary hydrogen refueling stations, skid-mounted hydrogen refueling stations, and mobile hydrogen refueling stations; and by hydrogen source into off-site hydrogen production and refueling stations and combined hydrogen production and refueling stations.
