Introduction to CNG refueling stations

CNG refueling stations generally refer to facilities that supply fuel in the form of compressed natural gas (CNG) to natural gas vehicles and large CNG substations. They are typically divided into conventional stations, mother stations, and daughter stations.

CNG is primarily composed of methane (CH4), while also containing small amounts of propane (C3H8) and butane (C4H10). Compared to gasoline, CNG has a higher octane rating (above 100) and calorific value, significantly better anti-knock performance, and better combustion performance. Natural gas is a low-density gas with a high auto-ignition point; under normal temperature and pressure, it is less prone to combustion and explosion than gasoline, making it safer. It is an ideal, environmentally friendly vehicle fuel.
